We provide support to clients who are selecting their building lot. We will steer you away from building lots that are either undesirable due to ground conditions or other factors, and we will help select land that will accommodate your preferred home design.
We work with you to develop construction plans that are customized to meet your aesthetic, functional, and financial goals. We ensure that window placement, garage location, foundation type, etc. are all designed to reflect the best features of your chosen building lot. We work with skilled drafters who bring your vision to print, and we provide full support and guidance along the way.
We also invite prospective clients who already have plans or wish to source their own.
We understand that one of the most overwhelming parts of building a new home is design. From concept to selecting finishes, we provide in-house support with design and sourcing for all custom builds. Although Katie is passionate about interior design, she is not an interior designer and only offers this support to custom build clients at Jones and Oak (see our socials for an idea of past projects). This service is also optional, and can be adjusted based on your personal preference. Some clients prefer to design their own spaces with access to support as-needed, and others prefer a more hands-off approach where they can relax and simply provide progressive approvals for design as the build progresses. We also welcome clients who wish to bring their own interior designer to the building team, and we are happy to provide contacts for local designers, if desired.
Quality construction and innovative practices are important to us at Jones and Oak. Our curated list of subcontractors are valuable to us and allow us to excel in our project delivery. For your added peace of mind, we are proud to provide an 8-year Lux Home Warranty on all of our custom homes!
We take financial goals and timelines very seriously. We work closely with you during the pre-construction phase to accurately price and design a home that fits within your targeted price point. We understand the time and effort that is put into scheduling and arranging your move, and we work hard to maintain our scheduled move-in date. We have a great history of finishing projects on-time (sometimes even early), and we make every effort to ensure your home is completed on the promised date.

Katie and Eric are incredibly dedicated builders. Their communication skills were second-to-none.
